Watch Demi Lovato's Epic 'GMA' Summer Concert Performance (VIDEOS)

Demi Lovato performed for the “Good Morning America” 2017 Summer Concert Series on Friday, collaborating with Jax Jones and Cheat Codes in the pouring rain for an energetic performance of “Instruction” and “No Promises.”

After three months of “GMA” concerts, it was Lovato’s turn to rock the Summer Stage in New York City’s Central Park, alongside British DJ Jax Jones and musical trio Cheat Codes. Earlier this year, the electronic trio made up of Trevor Dahl, Matthew Russell and Kevin Ford joined forces with the singer to score their first mainstream and Top 100 hit “No Promises.” And in another dream collaboration, Lovato teamed up with Jones to create the summer-anthem “Instruction,” which dropped in June.

In a recent interview with Billboard, Cheat Codes gushed over Lovato for being the “perfect” collaborator. “She was our number one choice [for ‘No Promises’] and we sent it to her. She really connected with the song, and a few months later, she recorded it in the studio with Trevor and just kind of knocked it out,” Russell said. He continued, “The thing with Demi is, the reason her vocals sound so good is because she’s singing from a real place of personal experience, and that’s why we wanted her on the song. She kind of put it into her own words.”

As Gossip Cop reported, Jack Antonoff performed as his alter-ego Bleachers last week. The musician performed two songs from his latest album Gone Now, “Don’t Take The Money” and “I Miss Those Days.” Next Friday, Paramore will be taking to the “Good Morning America” Summer Stage as the penultimate act, with Jason Derulo rounding off this year’s concert series on September 1. Watch the videos below, including a performance of Lovato’s solo track, “Sorry Not Sorry.”
