Watch Orlando Bloom Gush Over His Future 'Daddy's Girl' With Katy Perry

Orlando Bloom is thrilled to meet his baby girl!

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor, who is expecting his first daughter with fiancee Katy Perry, couldn’t help but gush over becoming a “girl dad.” The 43-year-old expressed as much during Tuesday’s (August 11) virtual guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where Bloom spoke sweetly about his “little daddy’s girl.”

"I've been feeling very grateful, obviously, I have a little baby girl on the way," Bloom gushed with a smile. "I'm so excited to have a little daddy's girl. I hope she's going to love me as much as I love her. That daddy girl thing and that love of your life feeling is right around there."

Bloom also shares a son named Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, and says the 9-year-old is just as anxious about becoming a big brother to his baby sis.

"I've got a 9-year-old boy. He's got a couple of other brothers but this is his first sister so he's excited too," Bloom says, referring to Kerr’s other sons, Hart and Myles. "It's exciting times."

Perry announced her pregnancy news in the music video for her song “Never Worn White” in March. Weeks later, she revealed the sex of the couple’s first child, who is reportedly due to arrive any day now.

Apart from expecting her first child with Bloom, the 35-year-old pop star is also preparing to deliver her highly-anticipated fifth studio album, Smile, which arrives on August 28. In the weeks leading up to its arrival, Perry has teased several new songs from the LP, which includes previously-released singles "Daisies" and "Smile."
