Science Confirms Feelings Most Felt By Vegetarians

To eat meat or not to eat meat? It's been a hotly debated topic across the U.S. for years now, but scientists are weighing in on exactly what they think about the no-animal product diet.

A new study from the Medical University of Graz in Austria found that, "vegetarians are less healthy than meat eaters, and way more likely to have unfortunate health problems like anxiety and cancer." This news might be devastating to those who shun meat but is great news to us steak-lovers out there. Go ahead, take another bite of the filet.

The study included 1,320 participants that ate a variety of diets. Even though it was found the people who follow vegetarians diets have lower body weight and also consume less alcohol. They also are associated with poorer health, a higher need for health care, and poorer quality of life.

This is all because when one skimps out of meat they're missing out on vital nutrtients from meats are the literally not in plant based foods such as vitamin B12, DHA, and heme iron.
