So I just read, in a new interview, that Matt Damon turned down a role in the one of the best movies ever, "Avatar"!! He said quote, "James Cameron offered me 'Avatar''. And when he offered it to me, he goes, 'Now, listen. I don't NEED anybody. "I don't need a [big-]named actor for this. If you don't take this, I'm going to find an unknown actor and give it to him, because the movie doesn't really need you. But if you take the part, I'll give you 10%of [the movie's profits].'" Isn't that crazy?
10% of a billion-trillion dollars is a lot! Probably somewhere near the $250 million mark! Matt Damon turned down $250 million!! Crazy!!
Matt said he turned down the role because it would've caused some problems for "The Bourne Ultimatum". Ok...I get it, but still! That's a lot of $$$$$!!
