Flight Attendant's Dad Books Seat On Each Plane She Worked Over Christmas

If you can't spend Christmas with your family because they're working, why not visit your family while they're at work?

That's what one dedicated father wanted to do when he found out his flight attendant daughter was working all through the Christmas holiday. With a little bit of luck, Hal Vaughn managed to book tickets on each of his daughter, Pierce Vaughn's Christmas Eve and Christmas Day flights, Fox 29 reported.

The pair began their journey in New Orleans to Detroit, and then Pierce worked three flights where Hal was a passenger from Detroit to Fort Myers, back to Detroit, until finally making it to Hartford, CT.

A passenger on one of Pierce's Delta flights shared the story to his Facebook page.

"I had the pleasure of sitting next to Hal on my flight back home," Mike Levy wrote on Facebook. "His daughter Pierce was our flight attendant who had to work over Christmas ☹️. Hal decided he would spend the holiday with her. So, he is flying on each of her flights today and tomorrow around the country to spend time with his daughter for Christmas. 😊. What a fantastic father! Wish you both a very Merry Christmas!"

Pierce said her father didn't have any trouble making it to her flights and was even upgraded to first class between Fort Myers, Florida and Detroit.

"A special thanks to all of the patient, wonderful gate agents around the country and my perfect crew. He made it on every flight and even got first class RSW-DTW (Christmas miracle)."

It was a special flight for Hal as this was the first time he had flown on one of his daughter's flight, Vaughn told WXIA-TV. Pierce said her father was the one who pinned the wings on her uniform, but a few months after she started working, Hal broke his neck.

However, after months of physical therapy, Hal regained his mobility and was able to make the trip with his daughter.

Her father actually booked the flights for free since he was a flight attendant's parent and there was a spare seat on all the flights.

Pierce shared Levy's post on her page, thanking him for being a 'great first class passenger' and for helping them understand how "cool this actually is!"
