In A Relationship? Here Comes 36 Pounds!

I am living proof of this.

Relationships should bring us emotional fulfillment and in some relationships....the fulfillment goes straight to our stomach.

A new study suggests that the average person now gains 36 POUNDS in a relationship. 17 of those 36 pounds happen in the first year!

The reasons we gain weight?

42% say it's going out to dinner.

34% say it's cooking together and drinking.

64% say it's because they could relax their diet since they weren't trying to find dates all the time.

For my story... I just got 'fat and happy.' I didn't take the time out to exercise (still not finding enough motivation to exercise but that's another story for another time when I'm self-loathing.)

Other facts about this study.
