Skittles and Hot Tamales Could Possible Be Banned in CA

Could you imagine not being able to buy Skittles anywhere in California? What about Hot Tamales or Double Bubble Twist Gum? Well, that might be our reality very soon if a new bill gets passed.

According to KTLA, a bill was proposed to ban the sale of these candies due to them containing dangerous and toxic chemicals like Red Dye No. 3, Titanium Dioxide, Potassium Bromate, Brominated Vegetable Oil, or Propyl Paraben. Apparently these chemicals can cause serious health problems like cancer and immune system diseases.

To be honest, a bill like this probably won't ever be passed. And if so, California will be the first state to do so. Would you be upset?
