Paul Rudd's Daughter Loves To Draw Photos Of Her Dad's Character Ant Man

For most kids, it's not every day that your dad stars in a major movie franchise like Avengers... that is, unless you're Paul Rudd's kids (or any of the kids who's dads are in the massive series of films.)

But still, sometimes kids don't realize how cool what their parents do is until they're a little older.

Take Paul's son, for example.

When Paul was cast in Ant Man and told his son Jack that he was going to be a superhero, Jack's response was, "Well, I can’t wait to see how stupid that will be."

Ah, children. So fun and precious to be around sometimes.

Well, it's been three years since that was Jack's response, and according to Paul he has definitely warmed up to the whole "my dad plays a superhero" thing. In fact, Paul says he now "thinks it's pretty cool," and that he thinks "he thought it was pretty cool back then too, but he just likes to push my buttons.”

OK, so that's one kid settled.

But what about Paul's daughter, Darby?

Oh. Yeah, she's a way bigger fan of her dad as a superhero, so at least he's got one kid who likes to openly show their excitement about it!

"My daughter, who is seven, all she does is draw pictures of Ant-Man and the Wasp. I mean, she's the sweetest thing in the world, so I have lot's of pictures of Ant-Man, which she [drew]."

Uhm, YEAH, what he said "she's the sweetest thing in the world."

It's especially cute because in the Ant Man films, his daughter plays a major role in his life and helping him become a superhero!

Oh yeah, and Paul totally gets that Ant Man isn't the most "super" or "heroic" superhero out there:

“I like the idea of playing a super hero that is not innately heroic or super in any way. [Scott’s] just a regular person."

Talk about refreshing to see a regular dude become a superhero, right?
