Adorable Autumn-Themed Names To Consider For Your New Baby

Somehow, we've made it through the summer, September happened in the blink of an eye, and here we are at October already.

People across the country have a special love for the fall, though here in Los Angeles the "fall" means temperatures typically under 100 degrees and slightly cooler evenings than your usual summer night. But it's that love for that fall that may inspire you to name your baby one of these adorable and unique autumn-themed names!

Maybe your baby is due this month, or perhaps you conceived in the fall! Or, you just really like the meaning of these sweet names (because you're going to love at least one of them!)

Some of the names are the obvious:

Autumn: just naming them after the season itself!

Forrest: a name that encompasses what you think of when you think of your typical fall - trees changing colors!

Amber: it is the color we often use to describe the way the leaves change this time of year.

October: if you want to just really go for it, this can be a super cute name!

But some of the other autumn-themed names are a little more discreet:

Aurelia: Namebaby states that this name means "golden one" which is not only perfect for a baby born around this time of year, but is also a beautiful meaning in general!

Olive: you have probably heard of this one from time to time, like when Drew Barrymore used it for her daughter. What makes it a fall name? Olive trees are harvested in the fall!

Opal: Opal is the official birthstone of October!

Rory: I know, you're immediately thinking of Gilmore Girls, and while that show has many fall-themed episodes, the name itself is also an Irish unisex name meaning "red king" which seems fitting for the fall.

As you can see, you have a LOT of great options for babies born around this time - or if you just love this time of year - and you can read even more options at Romper.com!
